Clothing Boutique

The Forms Study project of my Junior Year was a challenge. We began with a process of tracing an image using a certain number of lines. These lines eventually went down to five. From that shape we carved it out in a foam block. This is how I got the shape of my store. When looking at the curves and straight lines I began envisioning a clothing boutique. The large front curve to be a store front window, and the back to be the dressing rooms and speciality merchandise. I wanted to incorporate pops of color to bring a modern feel. Using materials such as silks, and velvets for a more high end design.
